Pepsin is a protease produced in the stomach that partially breaks down proteins in food. HCL production tends to decrease with age, so supplementing with HCL and pepsin can help maintain normal digestive function. This product uses an acid-stable vegetarian protease whose activity is equivalent to that of pepsin of animal origin.
Suggested Use:
Take 1 capsule at the start of each meal. Do not take on an empty stomach. Do not take if you suffer from stomach or duodenal ulcers.
